Very pretty and decorative early 20th century French articulated life-size mannequin's arm in dark brown painted and plastered heavy solid wood. To lay or hang and use for extraordinary decoration purpose.
I have this thing with hands, especially if they are as elegant as this one.
The wood of the under arm and hand are plastered with a thin layer of plaster and then painted.
The hand comes off with an ingenious wooden screw system.
This female arm probably was part of a female torso on a display stand.
Somehow this arm looks very special and unusual on its own, like a piece of art.
Or maybe it would be very happy in an antique arm or hand collection
