Very impressive Large 1970s Italian silver plated hand-hammered Franco Lagini Salmon fish serving platter.
Very detailed hammered salmon depiction with lifelike teeth, fins, gills and a brown glass eye.
The oval inside tray is deep with wide hand-hammered edges and fitted with a conforming superbly hammered detailed hinged lid.
The platter is made of heavily silver plated brass in superb condition.
The bottom is marked: Franco Lagini Made in Italy.
Each of Lagini’s creations appear to be unique but this platter really is massive and impressive. Believe me when I say this truly is one of the most statement making and beautiful platters I have ever seen.
