Very cute heavy French Art Deco brass borzoi dog on green marble.
Nice expression in his little face.
Very pretty and decorative, its weight (4 kilo's) would make it an excellent paperweight.
The Borzoi, Barzoi or Borzaya, also called the Russian hunting sighthound or "Russian long-haired sighthound". They are descended from the working dogs of people who migrated from Central Asian countries to Russia prior to the 17th century.
