Gorgeous set of two vintage Hollywood Regency style 1970s Vetri Venini Murano white cased swirl art glass mushroom lamp shades
Made of hand blown frosted cased glass. With opaque white and clear swirls. One still has the original label that says: “Vetri VM Murano 22.
22 stands for Venini Company (from the “Murano label library”).
Venini still is one of the top art glass companies in the world.
In 1921 Paolo Venini opened a glass factory on the islands of Murano, it emerged as one of the leading figures in the production of Murano glass and an important contributor to twentieth-century design. After Venini's death in 1959, the firm was initially continued by other family members and then sold in 1985.
This set will look great in any interior. Left and right on a dresser or one on each nightstand for instance.
